I have spent much of my life observing the things that give our mortal journey its greatest meaning — our families, our faith, the kindness we extend to others, and the quiet choices that shape who we become.
Through the years, I have come to believe that our Father in Heaven has never intended for us to walk this earthly journey without His love and guidance.
I believe the Holy Ghost is one of His greatest gifts to mankind — a divine messenger of peace, love, comfort, and spiritual understanding.
His influence is not limited by the walls of a church, the traditions of a particular religion, or the circumstances into which we are born. I believe our Heavenly Father knows and loves every one of His children, wherever they may be, and that His light can reach every sincere and willing heart.
I did not write this book to question another person’s beliefs or to persuade anyone that their journey of faith is without value. I wrote it because I believe there is something beautiful we can all discover when we become more attentive to the quiet influence of the Spirit of the Lord.
There are many things in life I have yet to understand. But I have learned that some of our greatest spiritual discoveries begin with humility, a sincere desire to know what is true, and a willingness to listen.
My hope is that somewhere within these pages, you will find a thought that brings you comfort, an understanding that strengthens your faith, or a quiet moment that draws your heart closer to our Father in Heaven.
